ABOUT THE PROVIDER
Dr. Courtney Remington was born and raised in central Virginia, attending James Madison University for her undergraduate education where she played Division I field hockey for all 4 years. She then worked in environmental consulting before making the jump to medicine. She served the city of Austin, Texas as an EMT for 3 years prior to starting medical school as part of the inaugural class at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Her preliminary intern year was completed at the University of Texas at Austin Dell Seton Medical Center, followed by her residency in dermatology at the University of Virginia. During her final year, she served as chief resident at UVA. She has particular interests in hidradenitis suppurativa, psoriasis, eczema, and infantile hemangiomas.
Dr. Remington and her husband have two daughters and they enjoy hiking, biking, cooking meals together, traveling, and playing board games. Despite growing up in Virginia, she has been an avid skier since she was very young and is looking forward to exploring the mountains of Colorado!
